The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating new business opportunities by qualifying leads and prospecting through contacting and developing relationship with potential clients. Ultimately, this role will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails.
  • Presenting our company to potential clients.
  • Identify potential prospects and existing customers who could benefit from the company's HR services.
  • Make outbound calls to present company HR services and answer customer questions.
  • Qualify prospects by assessing their needs, interests, and budget.
  • Present HR services in a clear and compelling manner, highlighting benefits, and addressing objections.
  • Set up meetings and/or calls between (prospective) clients and Directors of Business Development
  • Manage relationships with existing customers, providing quality support and after-sales service.
  • Collaborate with the external sales team to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Report to the Director of Business Development on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results.
  • Stay up-to-date with new services and new pricing/payment plans

Requirements:

  • BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of inside sales experience, preferably in a B2B (business to business) environment providing HR or similar services.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Mastery of computer tools and customer relationship management software (CRM).
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities and qualify leads.
  • Motivated and results-driven.
  • Enjoys working in a team and collaborative environment.
  • A goal-oriented and can-do attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of negotiation and sales techniques.
